Prologue: in order to introduce our platform to you, you are not required to read some kind of handbook; just read the following explanations. And it is the same like in any other business, practise to become master.

Our platform is structured into three main pages. The index page provides you with a survey of all running and planned auctions (green - yellow - red dots). A green dot symbolizes all current auctions. You can place bids and the auction ends at the indicated date. A yellow dot stands for auctions in preparation. Some vehicles are already published but the list is not finished yet. You are already able to place bids on visible vehicles. A red dot stands for planned auctions. Our screen in the center of the start page shows changing vehicles from various running auctions. You can click them and place a bid.

Through clicking on one of the green or yellow auctions you pass on to the second page; that is our vehicle list with short information about the offered vehicles and their auction state. In order to come to the third and most important page - our auction page - just click on a vehicle picture or the description. Here you see the vehicle described in – details as link to a new window with further details (condition, possible damages and extras), a picture gallery with up to 20 additional pictures of that vehicle. There is also a currency converter integrated as extra link.

The trading center is named auction steps©; each single bid will be displayed with price and nickname immediately. Our auction traffic light© shows the respective status (red = not sold, yellow = under reserve, green = sold). The auction hammer symbolizes the final phase of the auction and is hammering for the last 30 seconds of the auction. It is the same procedure as with any live auction.

Login: a car dealer registers himself under login with his nickname (user name) and password; after login he can observe and participate at all auctions and place bids actively.

Registration: the registration is free of charge. Only car-dealers, repair-shop owners or car related business owners are allowed to become registered bidders. As a proof we require a copy of the business registration or statement of incorporation per fax at +49 180/50077971 (12ct./min. inside Germany ). The new participant chooses a user-name (or nickname) as his public trade name on the platform. This nickname is not allowed to imply insulting or difaming words or symbols. We will ban them immediately. Then the car-dealer selects a password that is not identically with his username). Please make sure your password stays a secret. The responsibility lays in the hands each user. A valid username and password are mandatory for using the platform completely. A confirmation of each registration is sent by E-MAIL shortly after completing the form. Now the dealer can place his bids.

Register motorcars: basically everybody can offer his vehicles at Auto Auktionen Europa, commercial and private participants, banks, fleet-owners and leasing companies, other commercial institutions, authorities, car owners, manufacturer and importers. The placement of vehicles is free of charge. Here you find the link, where interested parties can open and print out the motorcar-registration form. Please fill out the form neatly and as complete as possible and fax at +49 180/50077971 (12ct./min. inside Germany) or send E-MAIL at fahrzeugdaten@auto-auktionen-europa.de. Simultaneously can post up to 20 pictures cost-free of each vehicle. Our platform is a professional platform and therefore there is no implied warranty! Wilfull incorrect or untrue statements can not be barred however they will be consistently pursued and punished. Such a user is blocked of all future auctions.

Starting bid: the starting bid is the price at which the auction starts for each respective vehicle. The starting bid is made in consent with the vehicle owner. We offer the possibility to place bids under reserve; they are maximum 1000€ lower than the starting bid. The owner has the right to reject auctions under reserve if he doesn´t like the final price of his vehicle until it reaches the starting bid.

Bids: all bids are made net!!! (without value added tax). Exceptions are made for certain vehicles which are flagged as §25a vehicles under German UStG law). Only in this case the sales tax is already included. .

Bidding agent: we have enabled a bidding agent for professional observation of several vehicles and to the subsequent bidding through this agent. It works very similar to wellknown agents you know from Ebay and others. You place a personal limit and the agent observes the bidding until your personal limit. Only higher bids will win that auction. .

Acceptance of bid: Nat the end of bidding phase, the highest bid finally wins the auction. If the bid reached at least the starting price, then the vehicle is sold binding to the highest bidder. If the price is lower the auction stays under reserve. In each case the highest bidder is informed per E-MAIL his auction details. All necessary data for finalisation of the transaction is included.

Under reserve: under reserve means here are negotiations with the owner necessary if he accepts a final price lower than is starting bid. If the owner gives his approval to the purchase then the transaction can be closed. All negotiations will be done by Auto Auktionen Europa employees.

Acceptance of bid price: the highest bid at the end of the auction wins the auction. The price is net; the legal value-added tax as well as the fees for the auction are added.

Obligation: auctioned vehicles are sold bindingly to the highest bidder. Vehicles under reserve are binding for the buyer; AAE negotiates within 36 hours with the owner in order to resolve the reserve. If an agreement fails within that period of time the cra is not sold and the buyer is no longer tied to his bid.

Charges:

• for all commercial offers 150.00 € plus VAT.
  
• for private suppliers 250.00 € inclusive VAT.
  
• for commercial buyers 150.00 € plus VAT.
  
• not dissolved under reserve – the supplier pays 25.00 € plus VAT.
  

For our auction fees we issue an invoice which is send to you by mail/ email. They have to be paid prior before picking up your vehicle.

Settlement: The seller receives all data concerning the buyer by email; parallel the invoice for the auction fee is send. As soon as we receive the payment (or proof of payment)of the fees, we issue a pick-up certificate which is send by email or fax to the buyer. Without pick-up certificate the vehicle can not be taken home. Buyer and seller can now arrange time and place of the final settlement and choose various options: bank transfer, guaranteed cheque, cash settlement ( be aware of money laundering and fraud); cash payments are only allowed durig banking hours to make sure the money is not faked. Please take this into consideration.

Security: by checking the professional status of all commercial participants in Germany and in other European countries through there respective business documents, you can be assured of trading with other professional partners. The status is queried regularly. In addition all EC-dealers need to post their EU tax-ident number as further proof of existence.
